International relocation company National Van Lines, Inc. has realized that a basic insurance offering does not meet needs of every international shipper; therefore in an effort to offer the pre-eminent relocation package, we have partnered with Willis Relocation Risk Group to provide specialized insurance services to our clients.

Insurance Services

National Van Lines comprehensive insurance policy is based on Full Replacement Value Coverage in the country of your destination. Your international relocation coordinator will provide additional assistance with the completion of your valued inventory form, if needed. This form is a descriptive listing of each item to be moved and each item's condition at the time we pack your goods and prepare them for transportation. We have provided the Valued Inventory form / Application for Insurance is provided at the bottom of this page. Please read the information contained in the application form as it will greatly assist you in the understanding of the insurance process and in determining the amount of insurance you should purchase for the transit of your household goods. Pages 1 through 6 describe the policy and the coverage you will receive, followed by simple instructions for completing the application, the application follows and is two pages long, the last page explains the terms and conditions of the insurance agreement.

Basic automatic liability for loss or damage to your goods is included, however it is very limited (30¢ per pound, per article). We can provide you with extra insurance and can assure you that if any damage occurs it will be fully covered by the insurance that you purchased. Although, our professional packers will minimize exposure to packing damage to your goods, full replacement value insurance will provide piece of mind throughout your relocation.

As mentioned in our move management process, we experience a very low claims ratio based on the quality of our services. However, we provide ongoing service that supports and assists our customers in the unlikely event of a claim. National Van Lines, Inc. will process your claim as accurately and as expeditiously as possible.
